As a compensation analyst, you’ll consult with SAIF managers, employees, and human resources staff on compensation-related topics and assist in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of compensation programs.

You’ll need to be highly detail-oriented, have strong communication skills such as listening to understand and the ability to explain compensation, as well as analyze data, and recommend solutions. It’s equally important that you are highly organized and be adept with using systems like Workday, MarketPay, or other pay analysis tools.


  • Five or more years professional experience demonstrating a knowledge of compensation practices and regulations.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field.
  • Other combinations of skills and experience may be considered.
