Travel Portland is recruiting an experienced Director of Human Resources to join our team. We want someone who:
- Serves as a “Generalist” to plan, direct, and manage all HR functions including employee relations, recruitment and selection, classification and compensation, regulatory compliance, and benefits administration.
- Provides regular consultation to supervisors, department managers, and executive leadership in performance management, complex employee relations issues, and emerging trends.
- Thrives in a “hands-on position” that encompasses both the day-to-day HR job duties as well as “big picture” strategic planning and organizational development.
- Proactively provides customer service to internal clients and external partners
- Enjoys problem-solving and being resourceful
- Is collaborative but also can work independently
