The Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District is looking for an organized, professional, park & rec-loving HR Analyst to join its Human Resources team! This position is intended to support current department staff during the implementation of a new ERP system and in the development of multiple new programs and systems.
Minimum qualifications include at least one year of professional human resources experience and a bachelor’s degree, or equivalencies. The ideal candidate will have broad professional experience in human resources, a strong interest in part-time employment, and enjoy applying their skills to a variety of projects in a team environment. Certification as an a PHR, or an IPMA-CP would be a plus.
This is a temporary part-time position scheduled for 15-20 hours per week through at least September 2020. The office hours are Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm and schedule will be flexible to work with the selected candidate’s other interests/responsibilities.
Projects may include:
- Complete an FLSA exemption study of bargaining unit positions.
- Develop a sabbatical program.
- Finalize a telework policy and train supervisors on managing offsite workers.
- Run recruitments to attract a diverse group of amazing candidates.
- Analyze data and processes for HRIS system development.

Any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that would likely provide the applicant with the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
A minimum of more than one (1) year of human resources experience is required. Public-sector or union HR experience highly desirable.
Equivalent to a four-year degree with major course work or training in: Human Resources Management, Public/Business Administration, or a related field.
