Mulberry Talent Partners: Human Resources Division has joined with our client, a leading agricultural company, in Downtown Portland to identify a Human Resources Director for their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive human resources experience and will act as a key contributor on both a strategic and operational level, serving as a business partner to operating executives.
The HR Director is responsible for directing the strategic and day-to-day functions and activities of the human resources department to include, but not limited to: talent acquisition, succession planning, organizational development and retention, performance management and career development (including performance reviews, performance plans, and training). They actively participate in strategy development and operational planning, foster an efficient and productive HR team, act as the Sr. Talent Acquisition Manager, and collaborate with other departments and executives. The HR Director is also well versed in compensation and benefits. They are tasked with program implementation, managing employee relations issues, and ensuring both legal and regulatory compliance. The HR Director is tasked with creating and delivering presentations to corporate officers, managing the organization’s HRIS, and evaluating current programs to ensure quality and efficiency.
The ideal candidate:
You bring 10+ years of HR experience, including 5 years of HR management experience for an organization with 400+ employees in multiple locations. You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, a Master’s degree in Human Resources, or an equivalent combination of related work experience and education. SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification preferred. You have demonstrated knowledge and proficiency of state and federal labor laws governing employment, including OSHA and workers’ compensation reporting laws and requirements. You are proactive in your approach, collaborative, and motivated to promote the health of the organization and its members.
