HR Manager, Talent Acquisition

Overview

As part of the Global People and Culture (GP&C) leadership team, the GP&C Manager, Talent Acquisition leads a team of Talent Acquisition Partners and Coordinators in designing, implementing, and executing talent acquisition strategies to attract and engage top talent. This role is responsible for implementing recruiting and selection tools, processes, and policies in support of A-dec’s corporate objectives and GP&C’s strategic plan. This includes collaborating with GP&C and organizational leaders to develop leading talent acquisition practices in support of our talent needs.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with GP&C and organizational leaders on talent acquisition strategies to effectively source, evaluate and select highly qualified and diverse talent.
  • Define and manage best practice recruiting process including sourcing, application, interview, and selection for internal and external candidates to ensure an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience from start to finish.
  • Partner with Corporate Communications and Marketing to build a strong employer brand for A-dec, using social media, job boards, Internet sourcing and other technical means to source candidates for open jobs with consistent branding.
  • Design, implement and execute key projects and initiatives with the Talent Acquisition team, stakeholders and hiring partners such as university recruitment and internship programs, diversity equity and inclusion initiatives, employment branding, etc.
  • Build and maintain talent acquisition policies, procedures, metrics / dashboards, and training processes to enhance recruiting effectiveness.
  • Manage external partnerships with colleges / universities, staffing agencies, executive and third-party search firms, job boards, etc. to ensure a qualified talent pipeline.
  • Provide guidance (and/or training) to executives and hiring leaders on sourcing, recruitment and selection programs, processes, and policies.
  • Collaborate with Compensation, HRBPs and hiring managers to determine compensation package.
  • Drive and implement continuous improvement and establish best practices for talent acquisition processes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements pertaining to recruitment and selection.
  • Supervise the activity of team members and mentor their growth and development.
  • Maintain positive relationships and communication with employees and A-dec leadership to promote a mutually respectful and cooperative work environment consistent with A-dec’s vision and mission.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent combination of education and work experience with a minimum of 7 years relevant progressive full cycle recruiting experience including supervisory responsibility.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking System (ATS) required, experience with iCIMs and Workday preferred.
  • Must be results oriented with a strong customer service orientation and the ability to operate at all levels of an organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve complex problems impacting people, processes, and program issues, along with excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Must be able to operate independently where appropriate but understand when to escalate issues. Must also be a strong team player.

Preferred Qualifications:

PHR, SPHR or SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP along with previous experience developing candidate pools and sourcing pipelines using social media and electronic media.
