Portland State’s Office of Human Resources is looking for an energetic, customer service focused candidate for the HR Coordinator position. The individual in this position is often the initial point of contact for employees across campus so the ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of HR, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
The HR Coordinator assists all new employees with completing onboarding paperwork, signing up for new employee briefing, and answering basic benefits and payroll questions. This position also conducts background checks, responds to internal and external HR requests, and directs calls and e mails to the appropriate HR team.
