Human Resources Manager

Mulberry Talent Partners has joined with our client, a company located in Beaverton, OR to identify an HR Manager. This is an onsite, full-time, direct hire role. As the HR Manager, you will work in an HR department of 8, report to the HR Director, and have 4 direct reports. The company size is around 360 people. The ideal candidate has strong background in manufacturing and talent acquisition, a passion for people, values developing relationships, and thinks outside the box. The HR Manager must have the ability to influence and provide strategic guidance on HR and Talent Acquisition initiatives.

Your Role:

•          Establish and maintain an effective recruitment program including outreach programs.

•          Manage employee relations issues with emphasis on empowering employees to participate in problem resolution. Assure consistent use and documentation of performance improvement process and results.

•          Maintain an effective performance management program including company-wide annual performance evaluations.

•          Develop and administer human resource work instructions and other related documents.

•          Assist with the development of HR departmental goals, objectives, systems, and budget.

•          Assist with management of all activities of the HR function to include effective delegation and direction of HR activities to other staff.

•          Backup to the HR Director in the support of all HR areas.

•          Establish and maintain department records and reports including confidential employee human resources files and data contained in various systems (HRIS, Payroll, Training, Time, and Attendance).

•          Assist with identifying training needs and develop and implement internal training programs and/or coordinate external training resources as needed. Recommend Training programs for Supervisory/Managerial and Employee growth.

•          Assist in establishing a succession planning process.

•          Assist in managing HR staff in effective and efficient support of HR functions.

•          Perform other duties as assigned.

You Bring:

•          Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR Management, or related field.

•          5 years’ experience in HR management.

•          Ability to influence and persuade senior management level.

•          Pragmatic problem-solving skills.

•          Articulate communicator and ability to interpret and explain written and statistical data to a wide range of audiences.

•          Advance knowledge of human resource disciplines.

•          SPHR certification preferred.

•          Experience working in HR in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.

•          Ability to convey difficult and challenging information to managers.

•          Expert Microsoft Office skills like Word, Outlook, and Excel.

•          Ability to manage time and prioritize work.

 

Compensation Rate: $110,000 – $130,000 annually

401(k) matching, Safe Harbor, 40 hours sick, 3 weeks’ vacation, 1 floating holiday
