Clackamas County Department of Human Resources (HR) is seeking an experienced and adaptable Leave Administration Supervisor to join the Leave Administration team! We are looking for a dynamic individual who has the ability to prioritize assignments in a high volume complex environment while providing leadership and guidance to a team of professionals.
The Leave Administration Supervisor works within the Benefits and Wellness division on the Leave Administration Team. The purpose of the Benefits and Wellness line of business is to provide comprehensive benefits, disability management, planning, education, and consultation services to county departments and employees so they can create a workplace culture committed to practices that sustain a healthy and productive workforce and preserve financial resources.
The Leave Administration Supervisor administers leave programs and policies in accordance with applicable federal and State statutes and regulations, collective bargaining agreements, and County and department policies and procedures. This position will be considered a working supervisor where the selected candidate will manage leave cases from start to finish, collaborate with employees and departments as well as provide guidance and oversight to the Leave Administration Team and its operations. This position will have responsibility over the operations of Leave Administration and will partner with other members of Human Resources to review and lead business processes to ensure compliance and positive customer experience.
This position will supervise the daily work of assigned Leave Administration staff, and provide guidance, resources, and support to ensure that the objectives of the division are met. This includes training staff on processes and new compliance regulations that may impact leave administration operations.
