Our growing westside client is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join their onsite Portland team. This is a very collaborative close-knit team that works hard and plays hard.
Payroll Specialist Responsibilities
Responsible for payroll processing and timekeeping.
Ensure taxes, garnishments, deductions, and employee changes are accurate and in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolves discrepancies.
Maintain payroll and new employee records.
Review payroll reports and distribute as needed.
Payroll Specialist Qualifications
2 years of multi-state payroll processing experience.
Knowledge of current payroll regulations; garnishment experience preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; Paychex preferred.
Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on customer service.
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
