Mulberry Talent Partners has joined with our client, nonprofit healthcare organization, in SE Portland to identify a Payroll Manager for their team. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, accurate in their work, and familiar with relevant policies and regulations.

 

The role: 

This is a full time, direct hire role onsite. As the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the organization’s employees are paid accurately, on time, and in compliance with all regulations, policies, and federal and state laws. You must ensure that the calculation, payment, and reconciliation of payroll liabilities and mandatory deductions are accurate and up to date. Preparing payroll reports, managing ACA processes and staying up to date with them, and ensuring that payroll processes and payroll-related workflows meet agency needs will also be included in your duties. As the Payroll Manager, you are responsible for keeping the department active, efficient, and up to date.

 

The ideal candidate:

You have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5+ years of payroll processing experience, are discreet when handling confidential information, positive, and respectful. You have the ability to drive process changes and navigate approval requirements in a productive and collaborative manner, inviting and educating others while meeting deadlines and achieving necessary results.
