Payroll Tax Accountant
Our PNW client is looking for a Payroll Tax Accountant to support their team. This is an excellent opportunity to get a foot in the door at a well-established and respected company and grow your career.
Payroll Tax Accountant Responsibilities
Ensure federal and state taxes are accurate and filed on time.
Perform audits on payroll close.
Serve as the subject matter expert and keep up to date with payroll tax changes.
Support payroll system updates.
Assist with required documentation for audits.
Lead payroll and compensation-related projects.
Payroll Tax Accountant Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; CPP preferred.
5 years of payroll tax or payroll operations experience.
Well-versed with payroll tax regulations and multi-state taxation requirements.
Knowledge of ADP and/or Workday highly preferred.
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
Able to meet deadlines and manage multiple competing priorities.
