Mulberry Talent Partners: Human Resources Division, has joined with our client, a company located in SW Portland, OR to identify a Recruiter. This is a full-time, direct hire role. As a recruiter, you will will proactively identify current and future hiring needs, ensure the company attracts, hires and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline. The ideal candidate will represent the company brand to job seekers, providing high quality and meaningful solutions to hiring managers and collaborating with the HR team to bring it all together.


Your Role:

  • Help guide hiring managers and candidates through the selection process, performing full lifecycle recruiting while maintaining excellent relations with hiring managers, candidates and community at-large.
  • Develop trust and partnership with managers while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes.
  • Identify and implement best practice recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks and employee referrals.
  • As needed, assist with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting events.

You Bring:

  • Minimum of 5 years of corporate recruiting experience required. Corporate and industry related experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
  • Must have experience recruiting in multi-location environment.
  • Must demonstrate ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Able to manage competing demands, accept constructive feedback, while being extremely adaptable and flexible.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must demonstrate exceptional customer focus, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of HR practices and applicable labor laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software (Clearcompany) or other ATS, Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR preferred.
  • SHRMs Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus.
