Position Summary 
The Talent Acquisition Partner performs full-cycle recruitment for all types of positions within the organization ranging from clinical, to non-clinical, and leadership.  Promotes the mission, culture and strategic direction of the organization. The primary goal of the position is to support hiring managers proactively and tactically attract top talent to fill all job openings, while championing our core values, diversity, inclusion, and adherence to federal and state employment law.


Performed majority of the time:
  • Primary functions of the position include Internet and other creative sourcing methods, cold calling, screening of candidates, generating external and employee referrals, assisting in setting and negotiating wage offers, maintaining workflow within the applicant tracking system, maintaining an ongoing talent pool of candidates to draw from for current and future openings, managing workload of job requisitions from conception to filled status, and general staffing support and coaching/guidance for hiring managers.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of employment and compensation laws, and other regulatory compliance related to DNV accreditation, CMS, etc.
  • Helps to ensure staffing compliance for collective bargaining units.  Verifies RN experience for all new hire RNs to make sure wages are set appropriately within the union step scale.
  • Assists in identifying resources and building awareness around workplace diversity and inclusion.
  • Uses advertising budget to obtain the best response and hire rates for the return on investment.  Stays current on job posting websites and social media trends in collaboration with the HR Manager.
  • Responsible for maintaining target goals for time-to-offer-accepted, and other key Talent Acquisition metrics.
  • Researches information needed to recruit for each opening through manager intake, and finding appropriate advertising channels for the posting.
  • Maintains frequent communication with hiring managers on status of job openings.
Performed occasionally but critical to successful performance of the job:
  • Stays current with competitor’s recruitment and retention practices.
  • Makes recommendations for improved hiring and retention practices based on analysis of new hire onboarding surveys and exit interview information.
  • Helps facilitate temporary staffing needs of the organization, especially related to interim leadership.
  • Attends job fairs and other marketing or networking events within community/schools/associations to build brand awareness and recruit talent to the organization.
  • Assists in Administrator functions for the applicant tracking system and electronic onboarding portal.
  • Maintains professional competence through participation in professional associations.
  • Provides career development consultations to employees as needed.
  • Demonstrates effective presentation skills, one-on-one, small and large groups.
  • May assist with other HR tasks/projects as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Decision making and budget responsibilities:
  • Decisions related to consultation with operational managers directly influence all hiring decisions which have an indirect, yet significant impact, on costs per hire across the organization.
  • Uses independent judgment related to job advertising costs, contract negotiations, and contingent labor scenarios.
  • Provides input to the HR Manager related to annual budgeting process for Talent Acquisition needs.

Job Specifications


  • Required
    • Bachelor’s degree
  • Preferred
    • Preference for Bachelor’s degree to be in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or Nursing.


  • Required
    • At least three (3) years of progressively responsible talent acquisition and/or related human resources experience, with a minimum of 1 of those years being specifically within talent acquisition.
  • Preferred
    • Previous experience in talent acquisition within a hospital/healthcare environment.
