Technical Engineering Recruiter – Contract

Overview

We are a vertically integrated, global dental equipment manufacturing company that has innovation and engineering at our core and a concern for people and passion for quality in all that we do. Join our talent acquisition team and help impact innovation in a 6-12 month contract position! Option of being fully remote.

 

Partner with our innovation leaders to identify and recruit talent in areas of software, hardware, technology, research and other highly technical engineering disciplines. Responsible for full cycle recruiting, guiding hiring managers through the recruiting process from requisition to identifying position requirements to placement, and is expected to provide experienced input in hiring decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with hiring managers to determine position requirements (KSAs and competencies) in order to source, screen, assess, and influence the hiring decision based on gained expertise.
  • Expected to identify market trends and new technologies within the recruiting functions, develops effective systems/networks for sourcing and recruiting the right candidates, partners with HR leadership to develop bench strength in order to meet current and projected employment needs, and implements process improvements.
  • Consults with hiring managers on best interview practices, appropriate competencies, and provides recommendations in the selection process.
  • Negotiates job offers and complies with A-dec policies and programs through the coordination of pre-employment drug testing, background checks, and other assessments as required.
  • Administers the applicant tracking system, employee requisition system, and creates and places job postings in a variety of media, based on position need. Also partners with outside recruiting agencies to source candidates when necessary.
  • Responsible for gathering and providing current statistics and accompanying information for federally required reports such as the EEO-1, Vets 100, and AAP. May provide some analysis of information if necessary.
  • May participate in job fairs to positively represent A-dec and its’ career opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Generally requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or other relevant discipline, along with 4-6 years of recruiting, human resources, and/or other relevant experience.
  • Must have extensive knowledge of recruitment best practices, processes, and applicable employment laws.
  • Must have the ability to develop successful relationships with hiring managers and to provide consultative expertise in hiring decisions.
  • Must be organized and detail oriented with ability to use sound independent judgment in resolving issues.

Preferred Skills

  • 4-6 years of recruiting complex highly technical positions in software/hardware and manufacturing engineering.
