Getting Back to Work: Steps to Safely Return Employees to the Workplace
Dates: 06/05, 06/16, 06/24, and 07/02
As several states begin opening up and resuming operations amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, employers and workers are eager to get back to work and start their “new normal”. However, as organizations begin re-opening and calling employees back, they may be confronted with new challenges with employees who are worried to come back or who even decline to return to the workplace.
As companies work through this process, they are faced with so many unanswered questions: can organizations force employees to come back to work, how can companies keep employees safe, what needs to take place in order to successfully onboard a previously laid off employee and several other uncertainties.
In this session, we will discuss steps to safely re-open workplaces including implementing return-to-work policies, what employer’s options are when an employee refuses to return for various reasons and the proper onboarding process for returning employees.
