Labor Law for Non-Unionized Employers: Best Practices for NLRA Compliance

Labor Law for Non-Unionized Employers:
Best Practices for NLRA Compliance
– Presented By Trevor Caldwell –
“We don’t have a union, so the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) doesn’t apply to us, right?” Not so fast! This question is often posed by employers who do not employ unionized workers. However, many non-unionized employers are surprised to learn that parts of the NLRA apply to every employer, and not knowing the law greatly raises the risk of inadvertently violating it. We’re here to help!
On March 10th, join Trevor Caldwell for a discussion on federal and state labor relations laws and their applicability in the non-unionized workplace. We will discuss the basics of the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) and the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), as well as scenarios in which your non-unionized employees may be covered by labor laws. Finally, we will discuss best practices to educate supervisors, mitigate compliance risk, and maximize the efficiency of workplace operations.
Designed for HR professionals, business owners, and in-house counsel,

this seminar is eligible for one OSB CLE credit or one self-reported HRCI/SHRM credit.

Breakfast and materials will be provided.
